Trip to "the Coast"

Also in November, I headed to Biloxi, Mississippi for a reunion of sorts with lots of my old sorority sisters. We were celebrating Laura Leverette's engagement with lots of good food and a trip to the spa at The Beau.

Halloween was crazy. I work on Wednesdays so it was a mad rush trying to get Asa ready and fulfill my obligation to set up a game at the neighborhood Halloween party. I couldn't get everything accomplished that I wanted to in the 40 minutes I had, so photos, and an additional piece of velcro Asa's costume needed, were cut. Here are a couple I got at the end. Don't step on his blue suede shoes!

Another trip to Albuquerque

In November, Asa and I went to Albuquerque to visit Grammy, Dee and Honey (my mom, dad and grandma.) We had a great time and Grammy and Dee took Asa all sorts of cool places. Here is Asa and Dee at the aquarium and botanical gardens looking at the pond:

We took Asa to my dad's barber to get his second haircut. It was a breeze...I braced for crying or more, and he was just as calm as could be.

Asa loves to play outside. Unfortnately, he inherited his dad's knack for stepping in poop, which Grammy realized just as I snapped this photo.
