Playing all the time!

Asa loves to play and is learning new things all the time. Everytime I try to take a picture of him, he reaches for the camera. Check out his crazy hair.

Here he is looking for something new in the toy basket. He looks like a little old man in those pants.

For weeks I waited to get Asa the highly-rated "Busy Ball Popper." I finally saw it at Target (the darn thing was always sold out) so I snatched one. I got it out and Asa was as excited as I was. I put the batteries in and when I flipped the switch the thing sounded like a cheap hotel hairdryer coupled with crazy music. Asa freaked out, and after this episode, we couldn't even bring him in the same room or he would start crying. Poor guy.

90 bucks worth of toys

surround this kid in the following photos...but he'd much rather play with the empty formula drum.

At the Dallas Zoo

The weather was finally sunny and warm so we enjoyed a day at the Dallas Zoo. One of the first things we saw was the new Crocodile exhibit. Here's the croc (it doesn't even look real!):

Here's Ace watching the croc:

Safe in daddys arms (and doing the aforementioned funny mouth thing):

Funny Faces

For the last three weeks or so, Asa has been doing all these weird things with his mouth and it's hilarious. He started sucking in his lips so much he was making a big chapped ring around his mouth. Below are just a few of the many faces he makes. The last one reminds me of that old Twilight Zone episode "Eye of the Beholder" where they do all the surgeries to make the woman look "normal." Hahaha..Mom, I know you saw that one!

Happy Easter!

Here are a few Easter photos my friend Nikki took. Asa looks so grown up in his little outfit. Pictured with him is his cousin Kayla. For some reason on this particular day, Asa figured out how to scrunch his nose up and kept doing it in all the pictures. By the next day, that was old hat and he stopped.
